Where was the Italian food on this Italian Mediterranean Cruise?
The ship - the Adventure is starting to show her age some at this point but is well maintained. We saw people cleaning constantly and feel the staff did a great job in this area.
The Ports - we enjoyed all the ports. We loved Malaga! It was beautiful, not too crazy with us tourists, and our tapas tour was great. We did ship tours in every port but Cannes and were happy with them for the most part.
The staff - the staff was great. Everyone was very helpful, courteous, and happy to help.
The children on this cruise were a bit of an issue at times. It got to the point where security was stationed near stairways and also roaming to keep everything in order. We saw these extra security people sometimes as early as 6pm. I give RCCL credit for attempting to keep the kids out of trouble.
The Food - this was the most disappointing variety of food I have ever had on a cruise. Of course I did find stuff to eat on the ship, but the main dining room choices were More disappointing. The cruise was billed as an Italian Med Cruise, but we didn't even have an Italian themed night for the dining room. We have done other European cruises and the food choices have always included food from the countries visited, but not this one. Even our British table mates were surprised by the lack of choices. They also wanted something more than what they could get at home.
Overall we did enjoy the cruise and will be sailing with RCCL again. Less
