First of all , so Disapointed with the so called upgrade to Platinum ,what a joke!

yes there havve been some changes tiled bathroom (cupboard) new curtains and a bolted down kettle, thats it , The Public areas have just had what i think is essencial Maintenance , lido deck has had the better changes with a few sofas and better chairs but upstairs old tierd white plastic patio chairs and tables ,the Sunbeds are old with no matresses as promised no parasols as promised.

The Food ....where do i start , if you go in the Meridian Restaurant you have to que for ever Thomson have decided that open seating is the way forward ...but everyone wants to go at the same time the que was back to reception just to get a table , to get in a restaurant that was built for 2 sittings , when it was 2 sittings you had the same table same waiter who you got to know AND You had a Table Garuanteed without waiting.
