Got a real eyeopener at the Hatchery, never have I seen so many Salmon in one place, could have walked across them in the mouth of the hatchery there were so many, then off to the Glacier, beautiful area and fascinating presentation by the Rangers, didn't make the walk to the waterfall for health reasons but wish I could have.
Then off the the Salmon BBQ, the highlight of the day, the food was amazing, the music was great, and then the stroll up the spawning creek to the waterfall was a nice finish to a beautiful day, highly recommend this one.
Historical Ketchikan & Creek Street Walking Tour, one fun tour given by Joe an Alaskan native who is a third generation who has been giving these tours for some 22 years and along with an amazing knowledge and a great sense of humor gives one of the most entertaining tours that my wife and I have been on.
Because we were on a 14 day cruise and had done excursions on the Northward leg of the Cruise we had not booked anything for the southern leg and so we took a fun tour of Ketchikan in an amphibious vehicle and it also goes into the water down a boat ramp for a view of Ketchikan harbor, it is 90 mins long and the fellow that we had was humorous and knowledgeable about the area
Skagway Street Car City Tour was raised from the normal tour to a tour with so much fun and it was all because of "Charity" she says it's her real name lol.
She makes this tour because of her down to earth attitude and love of the area, a must do in Skagway.
