The pride is no doubt a under rated ship. I have been on 3 cruises now all with carnival and the pride is just as good if not better then any other carnival ship. It is old, but it is a lot of fun and a great time!

pot of Baltimore: in the northeast it is hard to find a good cruise that you don't need to travel down to flordia for. We looked at other ports but all were much more expensive. Port of Baltimore was easy to get to (right off of 95 after tunnel)and was the quickest port ever. Once you drive up to the parking lot they take the bags out of your car and you park to go start checking in. within 1 hour 15 min we went through all of the security, checked in, went to our room (where the luggage was already placed outside of our door), and eating on the lido deck(deck 9). coming off the ship we carried are own luggage which a lot of people did. they said are deck would be off by 9:25. We were on the road by 9:15. The port of Baltimore is awesome and efficient.

stateroom: we chose a balcony for the first time and it is awesome. big room, beds weren't bad, tons of closet space, bathroom is small but its a cruise ship. We got 2 balcony rooms with the other people we went with and our rooms were next to each other but not connecting. So we asked the guy who cleaned are room if he can do anything and he opened the door between are balcony. It was AMAZING. the balcony was huge, and we can walk from room to room without going in the hallway. highly recommend it, but you have to do it ASAP as they only let 50 guests open the doors.
