Oasis of the Seas

FOOD

Dining Room

The dining room staff was top notch. Extremely friendly and very accommodating. The food was good and the entree selections each night were varied. Lunch in the dining room is wonderful, particularly the salads made to order.

Park Cafe

Great Salads and Tuna sandwiches. The Roast Beef Sandwiches are a must!

CHOPS Grille

CHOPS Grille is by far the absolute best specialty restaurant on the ship. Eating here is a complete and thoroughly enjoyable experience. This is a must!

Johnny Rockets

The food here is just OK and since the menu is limited and the milkshakes are not included in the cover charge, Johnny Rockets is NO BARGAIN.

Seafood Shack

Food was good. Nice change of pace. Try the scallops!

Entertainment

Hairspray  4 Stars

Diving Show  4  Stars

Comedy Club  4 Stars

ICE Show  3 Stars

The Quest  5 Stars

Come Fly with Me  3  Stars

Soda Package

If you drink soda this could be a good package, especially with the new soda machines on board that allow for 100+ different selections. Beware, however, that if you purchase the soda package online, the use of these machines will not be available to you until after you have access to your room and get your soda cup. The cup is used to access the machine. It is very disappointing to see those who purchase the soda package on board the ship having access to the machine. Also, you can only fill up your cup once every 15 minutes. A chip in the cup keeps track of your last fill up. This is also disappointing if you want to try various flavors.

Laundry Day Specials

The price is $25.00 for a bag of laundry. You used to be able to fill the bag with any laundry item. The problem now is that this special is now so selective in what you can put in the bag that is really is no longer a bargain. Better to just wait until you return home.

Bingo

I love Bingo and used to play on the ships all the time. Now that the lowest price package you can purchase is $44.00, myself and many Bingo players stayed away. There were 21 members of our party, most of whom love Bingo. Not one of us would fork over $44.00 to play.

Internet

The price is 75 cents a minute. This is pretty steep, but this is not the problem. The problem is the ridiculously slow internet speed. There are signs warning you about the slow speed. But even the signs cannot prepare you for just how slow the speed really is. Imagine taking 11 minutes to sign on to print boarding passes.

Schooner Bar

The best bar on the ship. They have the friendliest and most accommodating staff. This is also where the many fun trivia games are played throughout the day. If you visit the Schooner Bar, both Stace and Richard will take great care of you.

SPA

You must visit! The staff is wonderful and the experience is worth the price. Note: They have specials throughout the week. Wait for the specials, then GO!

Night Clubs and Discos

It would help if they were genre specific (Rock, Motown, R&B, Top 40 etc.). There were constant complaints from cruisers that out of 7 days they could only visit the night clubs or disco 2 or 3 days because the music being played changed so drastically.

Room Service

We ordered breakfast one morning and found the menu extremely limited. No Pancakes, No Omelets, No French Toast, No Eggs to order.

Flow Rider

MUST DO!!!
