This was a first cruise for both of us. We were travelling with one couple that were seasoned cruisers and another couple who were first-timers like us. We arrived around 11 am and boarded pretty much immediately. There was no hassle with check-in at all. We had done all of our registering online and that seemed to speed up the process greatly.

Upon boarding the boat, we went exploring and the ship seemed so massive that we could barely find our way around. We went up on the pool deck and it was pretty windy, so we made our way down to the Windjammer for lunch. We met our friends there and by the time we were done, it was time to go check out our rooms. Our luggage was waiting for us outside our door at 1 pm when we walked down there. The cabin was small, but perfectly fine. I thought that I would hate having an inside cabin but it actually didn't bother me at all. It was small, but there were plenty of drawers and cabinets to store our things. The shower wasn't even as small as I expected.

The ship set sail at 4 pm exactly as they said they would. That's when the duty-free shops opened and the casino. I was immediately depressed that I had bought cigarettes before coming on board and they were half the price on the ship. The prices on alcohol were excellent as well. I tried not to do too much window shopping as I was attempting to save money to shop in Bermuda.
