Let me start off by saying I have sailed on RCI before and love their company. I will try and be as detailed as possible so as to help those in the future who are looking for a cruise or a honeymoon. I will break it down in segments so that one can quickly navigate to a section they are interested in.

PORT:

The Cape Liberty port in Bayonne, NJ is an eyesore. There are many run down buildings in the area. RCI tries their best in making good use of the space but you cannot miss the broken down buildings and ships around that part of the port. C'mon RCI, I have been to other posts and they look great compared to this one. As we drove there, there was a bad smell in the area and seems that there is a refuse station nearby, or at least smelled like one. Embarkation was a breeze and the staff was sure to help get you situated in areas for boarding. Once we were on the ship, at 1200, nothing was open and we along with many other guest just sat around.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Cabin 9364: Outdated furniture and very worn carpet. Slight smell to the room. Rust in the bathroom and a lot on the balcony. Caused a stain on a shirt. Be careful where you lean. On a good note, it was one of the few rooms that had a flat screen TV.
