We have just had a first class experience on the QM2 transatlantic fron NYC to Southampton .
The food in the Britannia was superb as was the service from Anna at table 105 who provided it efficiently and with a smile the whole voyage. The food and the plates were hot which is something that has lacked on our 2 recent cruise on HAL and the food seemed to have been freshly prepared.
Our cabin was a sheltered balcony which wasn't my favourite due to the lack of view when sitting but did make it more useable on a rainy day,but was very attractive decor and well serviced by John our steward.
Good cabin layout ,good storage, sheltered balcony limiting view while sitting in and out
