The Enchanment is still a gem

Sail Date: July 2013
Destination: Bahamas
Embarkation: Port Canaveral

Arrived at the port at noon. Parking fee: $60 paid at exit. Quickly processed embarkation docs, separate line Diamond & other tier members. Rooms were ready before 1:30. Our room steward Lana was terrific- our ice bucket was always full.

Headed to Windjammer cafe - crowded but that's to be expected. Food was good, the paella was delicious.

The soda card was a great buy. There are 2 soda machines on the ship and they offer many varieties of soda/diet soda and water.

We had early dining, our waiters Hery and Bogany were terrific (as we're our meals). Desserts were extraordinarily delicious. Sit down breakfast took longer than usual but well worth

the wait. Sadly we missed eating breakfast on our last morning because my DD had to return to work.

For snacks, pizza and great chili, stop off at the Park cafe, by the adult solarium.

The staff onboard are friendly and helpful. Our cruise director Mark ad his assistant were awesome! The More 70's bash was fun but the highlights of our cruise were the Quest game and the Silent Party. The magician was excellent.

The teen club Fuel had good activities for my grandkids. There is a 1:00 a.m. Curfew for those 17 and under.

But for the ship losing power for 2 hours, it was a splendid time on the Enchanment. I had previously sailed her years back. The upgrades and refurbishments make her a joy to sail.

Happy cruising. Less
