This was our third Celebrity cruise and our best yet. The package included air travel from the UK to Amsterdam to board the ship. The arrangements went well apart from a little confusion around ground transfer arrangements in Amsterdam. Our cabin, although an inside one was fine in all respects apart from the lack of the window! Our cabin steward did his job very well and in fact all the staff aboard the ship without exception were friendly, helpful and service oriented. They obviously have excellent training and gave good eye contact and appeared happy. The officers and crew were very visible around the ship and in the restaurants.

The food was excellent in all the restaurants we used. These included San Marco, Ocean Liners, Aqua Cafe and the OceanView Cafe. The food variety was good with excellent flavour and good portion sizes. We used the Aqua Cafe a few times. This has healthy food and isn't just 'low-fat' or 'organic' but has controlled amounts of carb, fats and protein in well thought-thru recipies.

We thought the entertainment was generally very good but some of the UK acts (and I speak as a Brit!) were a bit naff and UK-centric.

Cabin 09

Average size cabin for Millenium class. Bathroom/shower were fine. Good location for theatre, gym, reception and choice of elevators. Generally very quiet. Fine if you don't mind not having a window!
