Will keep it simple-Pros: Boarding was easy because we were the last ones on the ship because the airline cancelled our flight and we had to take a later flight. A little stress, but we mad it within 3 minutes of the doors closing at the port. Food was very good, ate in the dining room every night. Never went to the extra price restaurants, the cruise was expensive enough! Nice that the kid pool is away from the adult and family pools. Great Guest Services. They tracked our one piece of luggage that the airline "misplaced" because of the flight change, and the luggage followed us to every port of call until after 4 days met up with us in Aruba. RCC was so nice to go to the airport and retrieve it for us. My son was extra happy he did not have to borrow his brother's clothes any longer. RCC was gracious by giving us t-shirts and toiletries for him. They did go out of their way. Dance lessons were great-we learned a new dance each day! Ports were a nice variety. St Thomas-we rented a Jeep from Budget right at the dock for the day and toured the island. The Jeep was a piece of junk, but it served the purpose. St Kitts, boys went snorkeling, I toured the City and Fort--great excursion. Day at sea, fun by the pool with entertainment. Aruba, boys went snorkeling, I toured the city and went on a semi submarine--great excursion. Curacao--boys went snorkeling-said this island had the best fish--I went on an Island/City tour--best tour yet. We booked the tours through RCC ahead of time and our tickets were in our stateroom when we arrived. No long lines to wait on at Guest Services. They feature a different style of music each night, from Big Bands, 60's,70's,80's and Club music. The Marriage Game was great! Balcony room was wonderful-mid ship. Great waitress and assistant in dining room and Porter for our room was ok, nothing special, just did the basics. Had a problem with a leaky faucet and Maintenance was there in 15 minutes and was all fixed.

Cons: Desserts are mushy. Pastry chef needs to get some teeth and make something crunchy! Room was a little light when the sofa bed was opened for the boys(teens) to sleep on. Had to do our own decorating of the door for my sons Graduation Celebration as RCC does not offer a celebration package any longer for graduations. Good thing I knew this ahead of time to bring my own tape and stick-ons for the door. Shower head in shower is a little low, if you are very tall, it might be a problem. Elevators can get busy at times, so be willing to use stairs. Ship shows wear and after 10 years, it could use an updating. Photographers every night! But at least you get to see the photos the next day and if they are not perfect, you have another opportunity to retake another photo.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Great balcony. Room was tight when sofa bed was open for the evening.
