The Oasis didn't measure up

Sail Date: May 2011
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We stayed in a Crown Loft Suite.  The suite was very nice.  We really enjoyed the loft area.  The upstairs bathroom was huge!

The problems were with everything else.

RCCL doesn't provide a butler, only a concierge.

Our concierge messed up everything so badly we didn't use him the rest of our cruise. He was worthless and very obnoxious!

The concierge restaurant for loft suite guests was pathetic!

It had small, round glass top tables at knee height which were the only place available to eat our breakfast. Food was buffet style and of low quality.

On NCl's ships, suite guests are treated like royalty - not RCCL!

The ship itself is laid out so you seldom see the ocean.

Seeing the ocean as we cruise is a large part of WHY we cruise!

Our RCCL Oasis cruise was our first with RCCL and it was also our last.

When we returned I sent emails to the cruise line and left messages for them to More reply but they never did.

Royal Caribbean SUCKS! Less

Port and Shore Excursions

Our first port was actually Grand Bahama Island but that pick was not available. Great Stirrup Cay was just OK, nothing special...

Always a fun shopping town, not much for beaches.
