Ship Facts: Allure of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Allure of the Seas Deck Plans
Allure Gets A Mixed Review For Our Family Cruise

We came away from our cruise with very mixed feelings. I'll list the pros and cons as our group of seven saw them.

Pros: -Embarkation and disembarkation. Both were well organized.

-The Allure is a beautiful, clean, well maintained ship.

-Entertainment was of a high quality. In some cases, simply amazing.

-Our ocean view balcony staterooms were ample with plenty of storage.

We especially enjoyed the fact that our balconies could be opened so we

could move from one cabin to another without using the hallway.

-Food in the main dining room and the Windjammer was consistently good.

Our one dinner in a specialty restaurant, 150 Central Park, was

fantastic.

-Sports deck activities were big fun!

Cons: -The ship was much, much, much too crowded!

-There was a long wait for elevators.

-We spent much time waiting in line for food.

-The dining room was so loud we could barely carry on a conversation.

Our table was a piece of plywood on a table base and very tipsy.

-About 1/3 of the crew was excellent! Unfortunately the other 2/3 were

poor. Some were just rude. Others just seemed apathetic.

Would we sail on Royal Caribbean again? Perhaps, but based on our experience on the Allure, it would not be our first choice. Although the amenities on the Allure are outstanding, the crowds and the many apathetic and rude crew members kept the trip from being relaxing and enjoyable.
