Disney Fantasy Cruise Review by Irene7: Perfect Cruise!

Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Port Canaveral (Orlando)
Our family sailed on the Disney Dream this past May 2013. We missed our cruise so much that we decided to sail on the Fantasy much sooner then we had originally planned and we are so glad that we did. Check-in was as easy and quick as it was on the Dream and maybe a little faster. I traveled with my husband and two grown daughters 18 and 22.
The ship is gorgeous and we loved that the Fantasy's adult deck area is much improved over the Dream. The additional water features were well used and appreciated on these hot July days. We enjoyed all the shows with Aladin being our favorite. Disney is the best in entertainment!
Our waiter staff and cabin steward were amazing and so very helpful, as we found it was through out the entire ship. Crew members were never too busy to help you. The food was good in all the dining rooms including Cabana's which is my husbands favorite.
Did some shopping in St. Maarten and St. Thomas. Did the beaches at our absolute More favorite island Castaway Cays. Perfect as usual.
The ship was full since school is out but the crew did a great job keeping the under aged out of the adult pool and deck area. We were again very sad when the cruise was over and look forward to sailing with Disney again. I highly recommend them to everyone and not just families with small children. We are completely sold on Disney and consider them part of our family. Less
