We joined the Tere Moana at Piraeus, Athens, and after settling in had dinner on deck while the ship traveled through the Corinth Canal. This unique experience enabled the passengers to get to know each other and make friends.
The Tere Moana is a small ship and what it lacks in facilities it makes up for in friendliness and fun. The crew are great and the captain a very pleasant man who mixed with the passengers.
We visited several wonderful places, including Capri, which was not scheduled but a treat arranged by the captain with a minor alteration to the itinerary.
The crew were all very friendly and did everything they could to ensure that the passengers had a memorable experience.
I would like to mention Julie on the reception desk, who was so helpful and the ships doctor who treated my small leg injury with such care.
Most of our fellow travellers were from the USA, Canada and Australia, with just a few of us Europeans.
There are of cause a few minor things that could be improved but I am sure they will be with time. Our main complaint is that the trips are too expensive.
