Ship Facts: Celebrity Reflection Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Reflection Deck Plans
A great cruise

I will be brief as many have already lauded the Reflection with some well deserved praise. This is my 5th cruise on the newer Solstice Class ships and here are some of my observations:

1- Food in main dining room has declined significantly. It was often served lukewarm and our waiter was not as efficient despite the fact that this is his 13th year on Celebrity.

2- Loved our room steward, especially his assistant, who was always standing by our door ready to open it. Room was spotless and all requests were handled promptly and efficiently.

3- Was irritated at the way they redesigned the Aqua Spa cafe. For breakfast, they no longer offer those delicious assortment of rolls/brioche with fresh jams. Instead, they offer an assortment of mini-muffins. The muffins were delicious, but still missed my rolls. They also carved out an area where they make smoothies and Greek yogurt parfaits for a $5 surcharge. While I understand the $5 charge for the smoothies, it's outrageous that they charge a fee for the yogurt parfaits (which is basically a cup of Greek yogurt with an assortment of toppings that you get to choose from). On a positive note, the offerings for lunch at Aqua Spa have improved, but they really offer ridiculous portion sizes (much too small!). Service is also spotty (many staff with stone faces who just stand behind the counter and don't say much).

4- FItness center was great! Some new classes have been added, such as Flywheel, and instead of always having them at 8 A.M., they now offer them at later times in the morning.

5- Get used to the cruise director constantly saying, "Ladies and Gentleman" with his deep voice at the beginning of every sentence!

6- Continue to love all specialty restaurants with Qsine being my favorite. The porch had great paninis at lunch, but found breakfast paninis too salty. Some great fresh fruit, however. Bistro on FIve continues to offer painfully slow service.

7- Amazing ports of call with perfect balance between sea and port days.

8- An interesting mix of mainly Mexicans (about 900) and South Americans (mainly from Brazil) took over the whole ship with the largest contingent of teenagers I've ever seen on any cruise. The teens hangout all day in the Hideway on the 7th floor and were quite rowdy.

9-Water temp at the indoor Jacuzzis is not hot enough.
