Celebrity Silhouette Cruise Review by annwyl: Modern Luxury...indeed

Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)
After gathering ourselves after a long flight for my girlfriend,we set out the next morning for the Celebrity Silhouette....checking in was easy as we were Concierge Class (a nice luxury)
Greeted by bubbly and a lovely cabin on Deck 11 and a great steward,we proceeded to explore the ship. I found it to be quite luxurious as I had recently been on Oceania's Marina but it was right up there for luxury but of course much larger, but never crowded.
We opted for Select Dining which was a bit of a disaster and quickly decided to purchase the 5 Speciality Dining Package which was superb. Quickly got to know the Maitre'D's and were treated exceptionally well. We were invited to the Chef's Table special dinner in Murano in a private dining room. This was indeed a very special dinner, accompanied by several officers who were very attentive!
We also purchased the Persian Gardens Thermal Suite package which was divine, especially as we had the time being a transatlantic cruise...next More time, might consider Aqua class as this is included as well as the superb Blu restaurant.
Another good buy was the Cellar Masters package as bottles of wine in the dining rooms are quite pricey.
I have to say, all areas of the ship were quite beautiful and I would certainly cruise this class of Celebrity again..in a heartbeat Less

Cabin review: C3 Concierge Class 3
Not enough storage....the cupboards above the bed difficult to access.Bed linens good and housekeeping excellent. One word to the steward and our request was granted.More towels needed, particularly for 2 ladies sharing a cabin but that request was quickly rectified by the steward.Having to pay for the bottled water a little chintzy but feel Celebrity nickels and dimes quite a bit!!Position of our cabin excellent...a few steps from the fabulous glass elevators.Read All Concierge Class 3 (C3) Reviews >>
