Slightly Splendid Splendor

Sail Date: July 2013
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: New York (Manhattan)

Embarkation: On the ship in a timely manner-12:05 PM.
Ship: Average condition-for Carnival, always was able to get to where I needed to go.
Cabin: Average room, above average steward service
Dining Room: Average meals, above average service, a few very good entrees (Beef Tenderloin, Blackened Tilapia)
Lido Buffet: Average, but-the absolute worst scrambled eggs ever.
Lido: Pools-Average
Also played mini-golf, and ping pong
Ship stores-average
Ports: San Juan-it rained, also timing of arrival 3 PM on Sunday was a problem since many businesses were already closed.
St. Thomas: Took cab and visited Coral World, and Coki Beach-recommended
Grand Turk: Got a lounge chair under a palm tree on the beach
Shipboard Activities: Average amount of activities like bingo, trivia, etc.
Shipboard entertainment: Average, but one show, Vroom, although performed well, is virtually unchanged from the time I saw it in 2007. Good band, True Identity-I play More myself, and the keyboard player let me play his keyboard during their practice session. Less
