Ship Facts: Norwegian Breakaway Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Norwegian Breakaway Deck Plans
July cruise Breakaway

So we decided to take the cruise with our girls and turned out to be a very expensive week. We thought when we booked the cruise we were told the specialty restaurants had an additional fee. Well the fee for these restaurants were $25.00-30T.00 a person. So add that additional on to 4 people per day plus a gratuity.

These restaurants were very good. Caseys steak excellent $30.00 pp. Teppanyaki $25.00 pp excellent if you like habachi. LaCucina $25.00pp. this was Italian it was good. The rest of the restaurants the garden cafe was the buffet that was good but honestly it felt like a mess hall with so many people. The other restaurants that were included all had the same menu??? These were aweful very salty food fish was dry the best was the desert.

So many small children so If that's the way you want to go might be good for you.

The drinks were normal price. A bottle water $4.50 for a litre and bottle $2.50.

The two pools were so overcrowded. Forget trying to get in them. You have to reserve chairs or you wont sit down. The staff was very friendly I must say. The room attendants were excellent $12.00pp a day to clean your room.

You must book all restaurants and shows when you get there or you wont get a good time.

Burn the floor and rock of ages were both excellent shows. The others were sold out and we couldn't get in.

The bingo was expensive $39.00 per card and by the end of the trip the jackpot was $15,000 no one won. Only small prizes $500.00 that you would split with other people if they won too.

The fitness area became a mob scene at 9am. Way too small for 4500 people.

shopping not great in Bermuda. The beaches were gorgeous and the people very friendly.

The rooms we had a suite with a balcony very nice we loved it.

The spa was very nice great massages and treatments. On the high end. The elemis products and great but expensive and they try and push them on you. Just be aggressive and say no thank you if you don't want any you can get on there website if you decide later which I did order.

So bottom line ship was so pretty but way to crowded for us. We we go again NO
