Wonderful Alaska Vacation

Sail Date: June 2013
Destination: Alaska
Embarkation: Seattle

Embarkation..... Very fast. We got to the pier around 230p and there was no line!

Cruise ship...... Nice. Easy to navigate. A couple of days towards the back of the ship there was a sewage smell (but it didn't last very long).

Cabin ...... We had an oceanview cabin. It had a obstructed view (life raft) which took up about half the window. But we got an excellent price on the cruise and was still able to see the wonderful scenery. The cabin and closet were large. The bathroom was small and sometimes you got caught in the shower curtain while showering.

Food....... We ate breakfast at the buffet and the food was cool or lukewarm. We were able to get seats near the windows a couple of days and saw dolphins and whales. The food and service in the dining rooms were excellent!

Entertainment....... The comedian Carlos Oscar was excellent! We laughed nonstop! We also enjoyed the naturalist Michael's talks about Alaska.

Staff....... Absolutely More awesome! Polite and very friendly.

Debarkation......Very good. It went very smoothly with no issues.

Overall the cruise on the Princess Star was an excellent vacation! Less

Cabin review: Star Princess E224

Quiet location, large cabin and closet, obstructed view (because of life raft) you were able to see out half the window. Small bathroom.
