Staff on the boat were very accommodating. Shows were awesome and highly, highly
Recommend the helicopter glacier tour in Jeaneau.
Concierge service was nice but not all there. After checkin, I felt agents were trying to get us to sit in the general area even though we were first to board. Boarding was to commence win 5 mins of our checkin. There was no separate area for concierge guests.
Upon your arrival, you will find 2 diet cokes, 2 cokes, and 2 water bottles in your staterooms. There was a charge for any additional ones requested from room service or the concierge.
Since there was no lounge, they should all be free. There was a private reception including a meet and greet with Minnie. There was no private reception with the Captain or crew members.
Initial reception day 1 was in the Cadillac lounge. You meet with a concierge attendant to go over your itinerary. After one free drink, they try to shoo away. It is more a get to know your concierge than a reception.
Linda, the concierge attendant failed to explain there was express checkout when asked if concierge guests receive priority disembarkment. She stated they did not since everyone would be on the gangway at the same time.
Actually, DCL does have a system set up. However, concierge guests do not have priority. On the last days, the concierge delivers Minnie tags for getting off. She ignored my requests to get off first and never inquired if I had early flight. If you are not express where u leave with your own bags, you must wait in the theater with your bags. Ariel tags were the first to get off.
Linda was professional but lacked warmth. She was very mechanical and felt like she was always trying to get rid of us or shoo us away. She was like a drill sgt interested if other employees were not doing there jobs right.
Many wonderful employees on the ship. They need to replace her.
