Ship Facts: Enchantment of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Enchantment of the Seas Deck Plans
Anniversary At Sea

Enchantment has just made Port Canaveral it's new home. Some of the crew seemed to be adjusting to the new assignment. One of our favorite times in the daily routine is getting dressed up for the dining room. We had the 5:45 seating, so this was enjoyable for us. Our waiter was not as attentive as we would have liked, but our second waiter made up for the difference. In fact he was our "Wow" crew person for the trip.

The food was outstanding every night. I love the small portions that are served. We were able to ask for extra servings or a combination of meals. Our table companions were friendly and we shared some different cruise tips with one another. One tip that I enjoyed greatly was having breakfast brought to our room. We like to eat lightly in the morning. That never seems to happen when we walk up to an open breakfast buffet. So, we had coffee, yogurt, and fresh fruit to eat on the balcony. This was a nice touch for our anniversary cruise.

The light breakfast worked well with working out in the gym each day. We did not gain any weight on the cruise. The gym was a little tight. Plenty of treadmills, but little floor space. It is located on the back of the ship, so there is a great view looking out from deck 10.

We did well when it came to alcohol. We were allowed to bring two bottles of wine onboard. By paying attention, we were able to enjoy some complimentary drinks at the Captain's welcome. During the shopping informational program in the theater, we knew if we kept close to the director, we would be able to enjoy some "Bahama Mama's" in several Jewelry stores. We also purchased a few drinks at one of the lounges during the "Quest" game show. We did not participate, but watched as the cruise director ran groups of people through some funny requests. It is well worth seeing.

We enjoyed some good deals shopping on the ship. One day there is a $10.00 sale. We found discounted T-shirts, My wife found some jewelry she purchased. I enjoyed the rum for $10.00 per liter.
