My husband and myself took our first cruise in June this year and will certainly be cruising again. Navigator of the Seas was a brilliant ship. Easy getting onto the ship and off. Cabins were a good size and bed fairly comfortable. We had a balcony which we sat out on several times. The food was amazing. We ate in the dining room most evenings where the food was excellent. Not being ones for formal nights we gave them a miss and went to Chops Restaurant instead. The food here was even better, as good as I have had in any expensive restaurant anywhere. We did have to pay extra for this but was well worth the extra $60 or $70. For breakfast we either went into the dining room or the all you can eat buffet. I found the dining room didn't have much of a selection so preferred the buffet. We didn't eat in the Italian Restaurant or Jonny Rockets (I think it was called) which was a burger bar.
We pre-bought the soft drinks package but opted for not buying a wine/alcohol package which turned out to be the best plan. We would have had to buy 2 packages which would have come to £500 but as we are not big drinkers it worked out a lot cheaper to just buy drinks as we go.
It was a bit odd sailing round the Med but using dollars in the casino and if we bought anything on the ship. We took dollars with us so didn't need to change any of our Euros.
Had a cabin with a balcony which was pretty spacious with an adequate balcony which we did use several times to sit and read a book on. Found the corridors quiet of an evening, weren't disturbed by any noise whilst sleeping.
