Cut backs and tired crews

Sail Date: June 2013
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Galveston

My wife and I sailed the Carnival Magic last October and the cruise was perfect from the start. We took the entire family this past June and were in 3 cabins and we were all very disappointed in the Dining room both for poor and very slow service and the quantity served was about half the amount from the October cruise, ship was not as clean and most of the crew looked tired and could not wait until their contract was up in August. The food on the buffet was of the poorest quality we have seen on our 7 past cruisers and the most popular lines were for the Mongolian Grill which was up to 50 minutes wait. The hamburgers, hot dogs and pizza stations always had lines while the buffet was nearly empty.

Camp Carnival was enjoyable for our Granddaughter and the water slide was a big hit.

The entertainment was so so with the same major act as last October but the so called comedians were terrible except for the Chinese juggler/comic.

Most of the Casino Supervisors More were rude and did not like being asked questions except for one lady who was extremely nice.

We all received a survey from Carnival and of course we never received a reply to the above comments. In our many conversations with other past passengers the same comments were heard..Seriously considering changing lines. Less
