My wife and I had a terrific cruise on the Carnival Valor out of Puerto Rico. We arrived in Puerto Rico from Georgia a day early on Saturday and stayed in the Marriott Courtyard Miramar. Saturday night, we had a pleasant dinner in old San Juan.

Sunday, we took a cab to the ship area around noon and checked in our bags. We then took several hours to ride the free trolley around old San Juan to shop and see the sites. This gave us a good way to "kill" time before we boarded. Around 5pm, we boarded quickly, unloaded our stuff in our room and then we had dinner in the Lincoln Dining room. The boat left port at 10pm. We watched the boat leave port from the serenity area on the front of the ship.

Monday.
