This was our very first cruise so we didnt know what to expect. We wanted to try a smaller ship at first thinking a larger ship would of been too intimidating. The embarkation went very smooth. Similar to a airport we had multiple check points to go through security etc. Once we got on the ship we were told to go to Lido Deck for buffet lunch. The first day or two in Lido it was quite hot and uncomfortable there. Extremely long lines anywhere to get food. waiting atleast 15 minutes to even see the food. The quality was not what we expected. A little over cafeteria food. We quickly found the best places to eat were to have omelettes for breakfast made for you. Pizza for lunch which was also made fresh for you. My husband enjoyed the hunks of meat they had at the lido deck for each meal and the sides were hit or miss. The meals in the dining room were also hit or miss. Most if not all lacked seasoning some were super bland while others tasted old. Along with the food quality, the service too forever!! we had the late seating for dinner at 8:15 and didnt get out of there till past 10pm. We went the first two nights but after that ended up getting pizza or eating at the buffet. You would miss the shows if you try and eat in the dining room.

The pools were all super crowded full of screaming kids so we ended up staying on the serenity deck hanging out in the hot tub or lounging in the cabanas up there. in the evenings we went to the piano bar. that was a lot of fun! theres a guy there playing a piano with everyone sitting around him singing along and bs'ing with him and the other cruise ppl. The club was a little to packed for us so we stayed away from there.

The only shows we caught we caught were the marriage show, talent show and karaoke which we loved all of them. We walked into one of the performances, born in the usa and it was a tad too cheesy for us.

Cabin 8A

great view, perfect size. Has a couch which we used for our suitcases. Bathroom needs updating. only complaint was when were was a show going on in the Adriatic lounge you could hear it word for word! If you go to bed before midnight this is NOT the cabin for you.
