We had a nice week on the Preziosa last week. It was our first time cruising so everything was new to us. Our kids are aged 13 and 10. Even finding our way around the ship took a few days as it is very big. We had a cabin at the front which meant a long walk from the restaurants which were at the back.

The food was good overall. Some people thought the portions were a bit small in the dining room but we found them ok. The buffet restaurant was good also and it was open from 6am to 2 am the next day.

Not too many english speakers on board but that wouldn't bother me. The kids found it difficult to mix with other kids because of the language barrier. They didn't bother with the kids clubs for this reason.

I found the staff very nice and helpfull. There was a good choice of bars throughout the ship. We enjoyed the Safari lounge at night for dancing. The casino was also a good place to mix with other people.

We had the allegrisimo drinks package which was wothwhile as it was only â,¬70 per day for the 4 of us. We would have been spending a lot more than that if we hadn't it.

The balcony cabin was sufficient for the 4 of us. The double bed was very comfortable. The pull out bed wasn't as nice.

I would definatley cruise on this ship again sometime but our youngest girl got a bit seasick for a couple of days and she says she doesn't want to go on a ship ever again!

Port and Shore Excursions

Port

A long distance from town. I just went in to watch a rugby game on TV. About â,¬16 in a taxi to the centre.

There is a nice tourist shop area just after getting off the boat. It is reasonablly priced also. Tunis itself can be a bit of a rip off. We paid over â,¬20 for 2 beers and 2 ice creams in the town centre. They double the prices for tourists I'd say.
