thomson celebration crimean

Sail Date: June 2013
Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean
Embarkation: Other

Departed from Marmaris.

Nice ship, nice cabin, however lots of problems. ship broke down for four hours, trouble in Istanbul meant a change of itinery and we lost a days visit. Did not feel Thomspson or the Captain tried very hard to sort out problems.

Food poor and lacking in taste. Ordered crab salad in Meridian restaurant and it was crab sticks!!! Extra day at sea due to re arrangements and pool was roo dirty to use until 2.00 pm.

Visited Istanbul (wonderful) Sevastopol (great) Constanta (horrible total waste of time) Nessebar (lovely but did not dock until 11.00 when it should have been 8.00, so by the time we reached shore on the tender, it was two in the afternoon and we hd ro reruen by 4.00)

Overall not impressed. Also thought ship had too many passengers and having two full days at sea, it was impossible to get. sun bed.

Had one other cruise with Thompson two years ago and loved it.

Will have to think whether or not we More would use them again. Less
