We traveled on the Celebrity Solstice from Seattle, WA to Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway, AK and Victoria, BC for our honeymoon. The cruise was sponsored by Jordan Vineyard & Winery and offered through CostCo travel to a limited number of guests. I can't say enough about both Celebrity Cruises and Jordan Wines.

First of all, we were in Concierge Class on deck 9, starboard side. The room was spacious, well designed, and had all the amenities one could hope for. Our room attendant was attentive and spoiled us! We had fresh fruit and flowers every day, canapes each afternoon (quite tasty), and service 2 times a day with chocolates each night. We found the room service breakfast menus the first night, and had wonderful food delivered every morning right to our room!

The ship, even though it was huge, never felt overly crowded (except maybe at embarkation/disembarkation times). I could go on and on, but needless to say, the food in the Grand Epernay was some of the best we've had on any vacation, the service was wonderful, and we would cruise on this ship again anytime! I wouldn't waste the money on the 3 specialty restaurants, since items like Escargot were on our menu every night...formal or not.
