My husband and I and our 2 children sailed out of Barcelona on the 7th June 2013, all I can say is that it was like a 5* holiday, it was our first family cruise and it was amazing.

Embarkation was efficient and quick, they issued the children with their own teen cards with a balance of what ever you wanted to put on, it gave them their own independence and also you knew exactly how much they were spending so it didn't get out of hand. The cabins were small but they were also spotless with plenty of wardrobe space along with drawers and shelves, you even had a little line in the bathroom to put your swimsuits on. There were so many bars on board, we still don't know if we saw them all, each bar had different entertainment, so you just had to decide what took your fancy each night. The buffet was fantastic with lots to choose from, you would really have to be a picky eater to not find something you liked. We only ate in the restaurant a couple of nights, the food was lovely, but I found it a bit limiting.

The different ports were lovely and some of them all you had to do was walk through the terminal and you were on the street. Listening to advice from friends we didn't do any of the ships excursions, choosing instead to hire taxis (which you don't pay till you get back to the ship, which worked out being a fraction of the price of an excursion but you did get to go to the same places. We were a bit dubious about getting off in Tunisia, but, that ended up being our best day, we had so much fun with all the haggling. The staff aboard the ship were friendly and courteous at all times, nothing was a problem for them. The day at sea was just perfect sun all day long.
