There had been and were ongoing outbreaks of Norovirus onboard so service at the buffet restaurants was done by staff. This caused quite a few queues during the voyage. So perhaps some of the Not So Good points could be put down to staff serving meals rather than doing other things. The Library and Pools were out of bounds too due to the outbreak.
The cabin was fine. It was quite spacious and there was adequate (just) storage space for our clothing.
The waiters and wine waiters in the Orion Restaurant were fabulous. You really could not fault them.
We went to the Grill Restaurant (extra cost)one evening and thoroughly enjoyed the service and meal.
Entertainment was fine. You could choose from a number of venues.
The cabin steward was helpful and very good.
Not So Good Points:
Service in the Bars was quite poor really. In the Medusa Lounge my wife and I waited 10 minutes to order 2 Coffees and then waited another 20 minutes to get them. This was mid-afternoon time when there were only a dozen or so passengers.This was not a one off and most passengers we spoke to felt the same.
The digital safe, which is an additional £25 for 2 weeks was a pain as it kept forgetting the combination I had entered.
The aircon was noisy
The ship did roll more than I expected during the cruise.
As expected the excursions were expensive
