Embarkation was not organized very well. They were sending guest to the walkway only to stop groups of 100 or more people until others were let on the ship. Also, they were not very clear on the credit card deposit during check-in. Please note, they will take $300 deposit off your card when you board. Once, on board lunch was served in the buffet, Savory and Taste. We had a nice lunch in Savory to avoid the crowd in the buffet area. They announced the rooms were ready around 1:30pm but, when we arrived to our room it was still dirty. There was hair all over the bathroom floor, dirty dusty ice container, and crumbs on the carpeted floor. We went to guest services, and they had the steward come clean the room. As we watched him clean the room he used the same towel that he cleaned the bathroom with to clean the counter area in the room. I was disgusted and called guest services, and they had the steward supervisor come. NCL needs to train their staff on proper cleaning of the rooms. I'm glad I brought Clorox wipes with me to sanitize the room myself. NCL guest services didn't even make any apology for this mishap until the last day of the cruise when I deducted $12 from the bill. They finally gave us a free dinner in La Cucina, and sent chocolate covered strawberries to the room.

The food was pretty good on the ship. I didn't care for the food in Ocean Blue, and it is small servings for the $49 rate they charge. The buffet had the same thing almost everyday. They do have the hot dog stand on the ship, and they were tasty. Sometimes, there were waits of up to 30 minutes to eat in the complimentary restaurants. So, get there before 6:30 or after 8:00 to eat dinner. They do serve lemonade now in the restaurants.

The outside deck areas were always filled with people. A lot of people were using the water slides. They need to do a better job with freeing up chairs that were not being used but, had towels on them. The pools are very small and a joke. Entertainment was good on the ship. We saw Rock of Ages, and went to Bliss nightclub.
