Just got back yesterday. Thought I would give you a little info.

Tropical depression in Galveston meant rain, rain, rain. Stayed at Best Western the night before. Room was clean, pool was heated (we swam in the rain). Parking was free (they have a parking garage).

Embarkation went smoothly. There were lines, but you expect that. Fast pass line is usually longer than the other lines (per the woman working there) so we waited in line #2 (which was not fast pass - even though we had our fast pass). Read more
