Embarkation was great. Got on the ship very fast. Then the troubles started. Got to the buffet and all the food was gone! This was around 3:15. All the buffets close around 3:30 and they said, just wait..Food coming out. It never did. Oh and if you think you will get burgers, fries and pizza quick? Think again. The guy making the pizza can never keep up and you will wait. Sometimes up to 20 minutes. Even at 2am there was a line. The food in the dining room was very good though. Great service. Props to Vas and Luis, our waiters.

Carnival will nickel and dime you to death. You cannot use the sauna unless you pay. First time I have experienced that. 249.00 a couple to use the sauna and a real hot tub. All the whirlpool on deck are cold and stay packed with kids. They did have a nice gym. My wife and I got a great massage. Wait until later on in the cruise to get spa treatments. Lots cheaper. The rooms are nice on the Dream but my brother in law got a room that was very hot. He had to complain multiple times just to get someone to tell him the temp was within limits .Very humid in his room but they did bring him a fan. Nice Huh? Drinks are expensive but did have some alcohol in them. Makes it easier to sleep in a hot room I guess.

Also there is no Sushi bar on the ship as the web site indicates. One of the crew said it had been closed 4 years?? We did not have any trouble getting liquor on to the dream. Packed it in our luggage and they brought it to our room. This ship holds 3600 guests which is too much . The crew cannot keep up and the passengers suffer. Ive been on a few carnival cruises and will probably not be back.
