Sail Date: Oct 2006

We sailed with a large group of over 30 people.

Boarding: A very simple process, Miami is a great port. Parking was convenient and right across the street from the port. The line moved swiftly and there was really no significant wait. Once on board our room was ready so we unloaded our carry on luggage and proceeded to have lunch at the Windjammer buffet.

Cabin: I have been on many cruises and I have to say that this one was the smallest cabin I have EVER seen. We booked a standard outside cabin on the 4th deck. The room was only 120 square feet and seemed much larger once the cabin attendant separated the beds into an L shape configuration. The room had signs of wear and tear but was relatively clean. Old and dated drapes and bed coverings were evident but should be gone when it hits dry dock in January. The bathroom was amazingly small, no shelf space at all. I brought a over the door shoe holder that worked well and held everything we needed within arms reach. Our cabin attendant was very efficient and did a great job. One big problem was the noise. Since this was a three night cruise we were "in port" every day and there was loud, scary noises from below each day as the ship arrived. It woke us up at about 5 a.m each day and was very troublesome. I think if you booked a higher deck it would be less of a problem.
