Sail Date: Jun 2013

We sailed on the Splendour of the Seas on the 8th June, its quite weird to think that we too, was in cabin 2531, just like the previous reviewer, how mad is that.

Our 7th Cruise with RCI,2nd time on the Splendour, celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary, with no recognition from RCI at all. Not even a card or anything, we did 3 cruises last year, very dissapointed, we was told that they just don't bother with that kind of thing.Cruise was good, food better in the Windjammer than the main dining room, service not so good in the main dining room, 2 months ago RCI decided to start adding gratuites to every-one's bill, instead of the option to pay the staff yourself at the end of the cruise. A lot of people decided to have this removed off their bill.

Place we visited, was, SPLIT/CROTIA TURKEY ARGOSTOLI MYKONOS ETCARGOSTOLI trip with RCI. had to beg for the Air Con to be put on, but driver wanted to save fuel, all of us extremely hot, not good. All staff are excellent, except we had Sissy, the waiter in the dining room at night time, very rude, management had to have a word, as others on our table for 10 complained.

Cabin Review

Deck 2 category N, inside, small, no fridge, good location, front to mid ship, not far from lifts, but far enough, deck 2 better for bad weather, don't feel anything so low down, no noise from the engines
