Ship Facts: Carnival Triumph Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Triumph Deck Plans
Return of Triumph

Was on board the first trip of Carnival Triumph from Galveston to Cozumel, i am first time cruiser so had absolutle no idea what to expect... but to say after reading a lot on this forum, i was prepared to face the worst.. but indeed this trip was one of the best 4 days my wife and i had...

From the start, entry into the ship went smooth. we arrivied at Galveston at 2:45pm, parked at galveston cruise and park opposite to cruise terminal.. booked online @35$/whole trip. they gave me covered parking... walked over to cruise terminal within 10 minutes i was sipping welcome cocktail drink inside ship louge.. not at all crowded.

lot of fun activities on board, casino, sport bar, piano bar, mini golf, basket ball and gym etc to keep you occupied at any time.. there were lot of events starting at afternoon till mid night... comedy shows, broadway shows, musicals, adult comedy, DJs, photo gallery and so on... i did not feel a single second board on the ship... and ofcourse with sea view any time any where.. you probably cannt complain.... unlimitied food all four days... is that good or bad... turned out bad for me... gained 8lbs after the trip... selection - Guys Burger (AWESOMEEEE), Buffet including mexican items, Pizza, Salsa Bar, Deli, Chopstick, formal dining and all four days/all course were different and it is one hell of paradise for foodies...

Stay - i stayed in stateroom at deck 1.... cheapest one... brand new beds, very clean bathroon, all carpets new... smell so good and staff/stewards all were very attentive to any request and before u spot a problem they are on it to repair it... .thumbs up.. they have a very good spirit.. if they keep this going... definitely will best in the business....

Assessability - lifts were all inoperablable for first few hours of the cruise as they were managing the luggages... after that till end of the cruise there were minimal wait time and all alley ways were enough wide and well designed to cope up with the number of people on board.. forgot to mention...we sailed full capacity 3300 odd people onboard... it was little annoying getting all 3300 people orgainzed for the safety breifing at their designated life boats.dont know y people dont take these things seriously drills are important in my opinion...

so all in all i give 10/10 for the effort carnival did to bring this back in good bounce back...
