Embarkation We drove from Naples, FL to the port. Dropped our luggage and went to park. Had no problems with parking. Went over to Carnival and checked in. We are Platinum (our 22nd cruise on Carnival, 26 overall). We had no problems with our check-in and went straight to our room.Ship The Carnival Liberty is a very nice ship. This was our first time on the Liberty and really enjoyed it.Cabins Our cabin was very nice. It was on the Panorama Deck (10) on the port side. The balcony was nice and we used it quite a bit.Entertainment. Ship shows are alright. I actually left the first one because I did not like the music. The second show was fine. The music in the various locations was great. We danced at several locations.Bars Carnival added the Red Frog and Blue Iguana are really nice. They added these on the Lido deck. Also, Guys Burgers was really good. Of course, the deli and the Manchurian Wok were outstanding. The only complaint I had was that Carnival has changed the pizza menu. I always looked forward to cruising with them and getting the De Chevrie pizza. It was goats cheese, sausage, mushrooms, and roasted garlic. They do not serve it anymore. I will definitely let Carnival know how I feel about that.Dining We tried the anytime dining. It worked out really well for us. We first encountered it on NCL and we do like Carnivals version of it. It is great not to have to be at dinner at a specific time. We also dined in the dining rooms for Breakfast. It is the only place you can get Corn Beef Hash, which I love.Services Our cabin steward was outstanding. Had no issues with any of the wait staff. The bartenders were great. We did try the CHEERS program. The just happened to increase the price, so for 2 of us it was 804 dollars. Also, it was no longer valid on the private island. Since the Island is totally serviced by Carnival, I think the program should be included on the Island. We will never do that program again. We found ourselves drinking to be drinking to cover the cost. We keep our receipts, and we did cover the costs of the program, but as I said, never again.Tours  We went to the Half-moon Cay and had a good time. Lots of activities there. We did our own thing in St. Thomas (Coki Beach) which was awesome. Not very crowded as we were the only ship in port. We are thinking next time of taking the ferry to Tortola and doing Brewers beach. In San Juan, we just got off and did our own thing. We did take the ferry across the bay and back. That was nice. We took a snorkel tour on Turks and Caicos. It was our first time there and Grand Turk was very nice.Debarkation - Very smooth and efficient. They did a good job. We were right across the street from the parking garage, so it worked out well.Overall reaction  It was a great cruise. Was there some issues, yes and I will contact Carnival about them. We really enjoyed the updated areas on the Lido deck. The Red Frog and Blue Iguana and Guys Burgers was a nice change. This was the first of 4 cruises planned this year. We will be on the Carnival Freedom in July for a western Caribbean so we are looking forward to it. We will be on RCL Allure in September and the Freedom again at Christmas doing an Eastern Caribbean.
