We flew from Chicago to meet our family in western mass and we all got on the cruise together. No reviews about accommodation before the cruise but we can say that it was convenient leaving our car at the port. My wife raved about the ease of getting on and off the ship.

We had an outside cabin on deck 5 and it was just fine. Next time I think we will be splurging for a balcony as it would have been nice to sit out there when we had the overnights in Bermuda. The crossing getting there was rocky but you can't do anything about that. Our cabin steward was wonderful and friendly. nothing was a problem and he made us feel very welcome and also had some tips for going ashore. when in doubt ask the crew!

The dining was excellent and we loved the Italian specialty restaurant. Can't say enough about Dymytri the Maitr 'D of the restaurant. He went above and beyond. We got to know him well because our favorite meeting place and bar was Gatsby's piano lounge right outside this restaurant. Every night this was our spot for pre dinner drinks. When I say we cruised with The Voice, there was an incredible piano player girl in there called Margie Hobbs. What a voice and great player. She was so nice and friendly to not only us but everyone. On her breaks she made the rounds and visited every table and we loved her cabaret show in the Stardust. When it wasn't her in there we really enjoyed Ariel Jacobe. They should make an album together! On a lesser note, the duo in the Atrium called Cover Stories was so bad that we wouldn't even buy a coffee at the bar if that girl was singing. So out of tune. We also didn't like the comedian Tim Kaminsky, I think his name was. My wife had a point - you couldn't get rid of him. He was all over the place all the time and it was overkill. We also enjoyed the Band On The Run show.
