Where to start?! First of all embarkation was awful. We were waiting and waiting for embarkation in Copenhagen very long in cold terminal without heating. When we put step on this ship for first time, no welcome from anyone. We just embarked like we are back from excursion. Went to room first, there was no soap and toilet paper in bathroom, and after using a shower, we saw water stain in room carpet, so the shower was leaking. Yes! on the ship made in 2006, and we were not the only one that had this problem, whole corridor had water spots on carpet every day, and that wasn't fixed in whole week. Therefore, we realized that the ship was poorly maintained.. Lunch in buffet area is just instant food, including breakfast. You have only 3 type of cakes, every day for one week cruise! Food for breakfast is the same every day, for lunch is also the same, only with little differences. There was always crowd of people in lunch and breakfast time, so we could walk for 10 minutes around buffet and not to find any seat to eat normally. Dinner, comparing with other cruise line I have been, is very poor. There is no decoration - well that is not such a big thing, but the taste of food is bad. I had fish one night and it smalled very bad, like very old fish. Also one night we got the same menu! On which cruise ship you can get in one week the same dinner twice? Portions were also too big, so waiter asked us every time "why are u leaving so much on plate, it was not good?" - probably you could say the same, too much, and not so fine.. Don't order pizza on MSC in your room, because you will wait for it 2 hours. They told us that delivery will be made within 20 minutes!! And also they made mistake with the bill for pizza, so we were dealing with that problem for some time. SPA is to expensive, 15 euro for 1 hour of poor thermal spa. Comparing to other cruise company i got for 25 euro all day pas. This AUREA SPA has two thermal saunas, one of them was not working for 2-3 days and both of them had broken tiles on seats, and two small finish saunas, and three whirlpool jacuzzis, two of jacuzzis had sand inside, so that mean that they were not cleaned for a while. Gym has the same entrance as thermal spa area, so usually people just get lost and finish in thermal area not in gym. That was made very stupid from people who designed this ship. Also it was very cold in whirlpool area, the floor is not heated and it's slippery. Theater, what to say, another disappointment. Shows are just too short, 25-30 minutes, no special effects and the stage is the same every night. They have only some replacable stairs to decorate the stage, and different lights. And also one of the female singers didin't know how to sing! She was wailing every show, and people were laughing. I relly don't know who give the job to this poor girl?! She was just embarrassing whole show. You can easily ask yourself, if she got the job on this ship, what other unskilled people got job on this ship, or in this company? Doctors? Captain? Other people that your life can depend on! Also, they put on northern europe cruise ship with no closed pool?! First in this part of europe it is very cold, second it's raining and foggy most of the time. So you're trying to get me in your poor Aurea spa for 15 euro per hour.. Nicely done MSC! Shore excursions were boring, and just a little bit more expensive than on other cruising company. In the end, there was not much about Musica on this MUSICA ship.. I hope that this was helpful. I recommend you to choose some other company to cruise with because you will not experience good time on MSC. Not value for that money!
