I was impressed by this cruise line right from the start, we had booked a back to back cruise but our booking person said we had no guarantee with our rooms, until closer to our departure date.

When I did find out where we were situated one way was right outside the kids play area, I called Norwegian and they straightened it out for me that we had the same room and on a quieter deck for the back to back trip even though it was sold as rooms as is , so that was my first good impression, good service !When checking in at the port, there were huge line ups and as we had not cruised before we were sent to a room at the back, my husband being diabetic was needing to eat lunch and we had not thought it would take so long for check in, we went up to one of the ladies directing traffic and they put us in a line right away , so again I was very impressed with the service I personally like the smaller ships so the Norwegian Sun suited us just fine, it is easy to navigate and we stayed on the smaller deck called the Oslo deck which was easy to find on the aft end past the casino with a small staircase down to the deck , very quiet ...not good if you cant take stairs though , but it is a small one half set of stairs down to the deck Food was pretty good, waiters on the whole were very good, and the casino people were very friendly especially Susan one of the ladies who brings drinks she is from Peru and really is such a special person, I really enjoyed my time there as everyone is so friendly and I even won a big hunk of money !!After coming back from excursions in port, they would have juice , hot chocolate, delicious cookies and gelato as you came on board a very nice thoughtful touch If there were any problems, they rectify things right away which was very impressive , we had a problem and the day after TI talked with someone we had chocolate covered strawberries and a lovely bottle of wine delivered to our cabin.When you purchase a coffee or beverage at the Java Cafe they have free squares and varied types of loaf cake you get gratis with your beverageThe cabins have excellent storage the only complaint was the shower is smaller but really not a huge deal and the comedian they had for one of the night shows had us all in stitches making fun of the showers All areas of the ship were very clean and it was well maintained Movies were shown in DAZZLES in the day on a large screen or you could watch them in your room on the flat screen, and you could obtain a print out of all the movies and times All in all, for the price, you really do get value for your money and I love the freestyle dinner arrangements and the relaxed dress code and I got the feeling that the personnel really wanted to make your vacation and great experience I was dreading disembarkation but it went smoothly with no problems, very well organized This was my first time with Nowegian, I have cruised other lines but I think I will be using Norwegian quite abit more in the future HATS OFF TO YOU NORWEGIAN FOR SUCH A HIGH STANDARD FOR HOLIDAY BOOKINGS
