Well lets see guess the good and fun stuff first:
10 stars to Robert Orr, the number one room attendant as far as I could tell with his desire to be attentative to the needs and wants of myself and my friends who enjoyed returning to the cabin to find some wickedly funny creature made from the towels, the cabin clean and ready for use and the attention to detail and his welcoming smiles and quick humor.
9 stars to the many fellow passengers who I encountered during the cruise. We can al take bows (well the gals can curtsey) for we provided each other many memories that will last several life times
8 star to the various events ans shows that I was able to attend and be a part of. The various performers displayed a sense of WOW which is the theme of RCI.
7 stars to the dining experiences. The waitstaff were friendly and responsive, not only in the main dining room; but through-out the ship. Dane and Camille were the prime waitstaff that we encountered for at least three meals in the main dining room and Camille was also seen several times by myself and my friends at the Windjammer. The meals were of high quality and the atmoshere was cheerful, yet sometimes a bit noisey in tWindjammer, due to all the patrons who feasted there during the breakfast and lunch meal times.
7 stars to the overall upkeep and maintenance of the ship.
5 stars to cruise director Richard (the sock man) Spacey. A very multi talented cruise director and comedian who consistently showed a high level of enthusiasm towards the cruisers. Hmmm Richards top ten statements were funny with the number one being a desire to have a problem with the cabin microwave fixed. Go figure that the pasenger was trying to use the room safe as a microwave
5 stars to the relaxing areas that were found around the ship, which included the library and the Internet lounge on deck 8.
5 stars to shopping experience on board the ship. A good variety of items to be found and purchased at good prices.
Sorry to say but I did encounter some bad points on the cruise; but they were minimal compared to the fun and entertainment that I enjoyed through-out the entire cruise
4 stars to the wait lines for the elevators, and the tenders to Cocco Cay.
3 stars for the deserts in the main dining room
3 stars for the performance of the Mystery Dinner Show.....it was not up to par from a previous Mystery Dinner Show that I attended in Orlando a couple years back
3 stars for the Quest event which limted the level of participation from us cruisers
1 star for the Belly Flop Contest. I showed up 15 minutes before the contest was to start and was informed by Jamie that sign-ups were full with from what I heard later was 9 passengers that entered the contest.
My overall experience aboard the Freedom was of high quality. The crew of the Freedom of the Seas can hold their heads high for I will seek out more opportunities to cruise with RCI and Freedom
