1st Alaska Cruise - Southbound on Radiance OTS From the start this trip was fantastic. Everything getting on and off the ship was very organized. Train ride from Anchorage to Seward worth every penny when compared to the bus option but you do board the ship later in the day. Got to see lots of wildlife and when we did the train slowed down to get a better view. Hubbard Glacier was AWESOME & our ship was able to get in very close to the glacier for some really good pictures. Saw 2 whales breach on the whale watching excursion in Juneau. The ships personnel where just great including the Captain who made an announcement every day. They were very courteous and helpful. Our cabin steward was just fantastic and we saw her everyday. The seaplane ride in Ketchikan was the highlight of my trip even landing on one of the fjords.Ship was very clean and the food was great although I would not recommend the Windjammer just before closing. Any other time the food was great with a very good selection. The main dinning room and the 2 specialty restaurants we ate in where great including the staff. All in all this trip was the best I have ever taken on land or sea and in the future if I sail again it will defiantly be with this cruise line.
