We did the ''In Alaska's Wildest Kitchen" trip and had a great time. Learned some good recipes for salmon and halibut then went out to the grill where we cooked and ate our fish. Nice presentation by the host.
Took the Dog Sled and Musher's Camp tour and were extremely disappointed. $139 each for a ride around a "track" in a wheeled cart behind some dogs. Had a couple pups to play with but we could not see the dog camp or anything related to the training. NOT worth the money.
Nice excursion but instead of paying $44 each through the cruise line we could have spent $19 at the pier for the exact same thing.
Nice ride looking at the scenery. They pulled up a couple crab pots to let us all see what it was like. Back at the lodge the crab feast was fantastic. Plenty of great tasting crab followed by cheesecake.
Absolutely gorgeous! Fantastic scenery!
