This review is for the Carnival Inspiration September 25, 2006 Western Caribbean sailing from Tampa Florida.

This was my 14th cruise, but first Carnival cruise. I have previously sailed on Holland America, Celebrity, Premier, Royal Caribbean, and P&O.

Embarkation: We arrived at the terminal at 10:30 a.m. We had a very short wait before the doors were opened and we were allowed to proceed to the check in area. Everything went very smoothly. After checking in we were able to be comfortably seated and wait until boarding at 11:30 a.m. Since the cabins were still being prepared, we proceeded to the Lido for a very good buffet lunch and then took a tour around the ship. We were then able go to our cabin and unpack our carry on luggage. Luggage delivery was very quick  we had our bags delivered and unpacked by Lifeboat drill!
