On-Boarding was a breese-From drop off to buffet in 15 minutes! (Got to pier at 12:10pm). Room was ready! I was in one of the Single Studios. It was SOOOO Small! But it was very sweetly decorated and in no way did I feel claustrophobic. BUT, I am 5'4" and my feet hung off the bed at night so, tall people be forewarned! The studio lounge was adorable and, if you want to meet and mingle, they have a crew member in charge of organizing activities for the group. They meet every morning at 9 and afternoon at 5. The buffet is pretty bad. First, there is no outdoor area to sit, but you can eat the same offerings (And at breakfast time there are added choices) at the Uptown Grill, which is one deck above. The food was particularly tasteless and the set up was a little confusing---but it's fairly standard for buffets. A better choice for lunches than the buffet is wither one of the complementary dining room-Taste or Savour or, especially, O'Sheehan's Pub-the food was very good and there were a lot of nice choices! I did not go to any of the cover charge dining rooms. Out of the complimentary ones, I really liked the Manahattan Room best-it had a nice feel to it, the specials were more interesting, and there is a band and a dance floor. Be warned, men, they ask that you do not wear shorts here! Savour and Taste dining rooms were very similar in feel and the menu was fairly pedestrian. For some reason the appetizers were better than the entrees. Staff were all accomodating. Entertainment was fabulous! Cirque Dreams and Jungle Fantasy is a must see-and the food was pretty good for a dinner show. "Burn the Floor" had FANTASTIC dancing-I LOVED it! Second City are always fun. "Rock of Ages" was a truncated version of the Broadway show. It's a pretty stupid show but the singing and acting were well above standard cruise talent. I didn't do the ropes course or walk the plank-but it was fun to watch! The pool areas were all very nice. Spice H2O was a LOVELY spot to spend a sunny day-Ages 18 and over. And, at night, it made a great party venue. The Sail Away Party was really good. "I highly recommend the "Glow" party up there and, especially "Norwegian's Night Out" party-they pull out all the stops! I didn't go up for the fireworks on Friday night since it didn't start until after 11:15, which I think is kind of a shame, since kids would love it! Ocean Place, on deck 8, where all the restaurants and clubs have an outside venue is a stunning place to walk or sit and have a drink at sunset...great idea. What isn't a great idea is that they only put 2 elevator banks in this ship instead of 3! Makes no sense! Everything is clean and neat...all staff were friendly and helpful. No complaints. Bermuda is gorgeous and all the excursions I went on were better than expected. The Scenic St. George Tour and the Sunset Catamaran Swizzle tour were the best! We had perfect weather and I enjoyed every minute. The ship is HUGE but it never felt crowded! There were times when I found a little spot all to myself. Great Trip!

Cabin Review

The studios are tiny but well worth saving the money you'd spend with a 2nd person premium! Especially if you are like me and never spend time in your room.
