We live an hour away so we drove to the port. Embarkation was pretty fast and easy, we arrived at 11:15 and we were on the ship by 12:00. Our room was ready about 1:30. My husband and I were traveling with our 10 year old granddaughter so we went up and registered her for the kids club, put ourselves on a wait list for a cabana on Coco Cay and generally got the lay of the ship. Checked out the pool area etc. The pool area is large with bands playing, LOTS of drinking and noisy. This is the pool area for families and children. There is another for adults, much quieter, children are not allowed in that one. We went to the dining room for dinner, we did anytime dining with no reservation, we were seated immediately. We were not even asked to share a table, kids? I don't know but it was great. I don't remember what we had but it was ok. Let me say that I am a foodie and none of our meals were bad, but none were great either. After dinner our granddaughter couldn't wait to go to the kids club. She really enjoyed it. Most of the kids come before 6:30. I assume so their parents can go to dinner. She arrived late because she went to dinner with us every night. We had room service breakfast Saturday morning. It was horrible. The toast was so hard it was in edible, eggs were nasty. We just ordered coffee and juice the rest of the trip.

Saturday we were in Nassau. We had booked the Atlantis dig? That tour was basically a tour of Atlantis, including their aquarium. It was a LOT of walking, and hot. We did not know there was so much walking until we got our tickets on the ship and it stated there was a lot of walking. I wanted to go to the straw market after but we were just too tired. We went to the dining room again ( I don't know how) we were seated at the same table with the same wait staff! Again no wait. The second night was formal night so I expected a little more special food. My husband paid extra for surf and turf (filet and Main lobster) somewhere around $37.00! He says it was the best lobster he ever had. There was some kind of fish (that I have never heard of) on the menu, I asked our waiter what kind it was, he said "everybody complains about it", so needless to say I did not order it. Honestly I can't remember what I had. Our granddaughter had the filet and it was cooked perfectly! She was in a hurry to get to the kids club so I left my husband at the table so I could take her up. He was going to pick her up at 10:00. When we got there they were doing a pirate parade and she did not want to stay because she felt like the kids were too young. So we had mass confusion trying to track down Grandpa. I would highly recommend getting the walkie talkies. I would next time! Save yourself a lot of walking and confusion!

Sunday was Coco Cay! We were off the ship around 10:00. We had booked the jet ski's for hubby and granddaughter, as a passenger. I had called Saturday night to book a massage and she asked me if I wanted to get it on the beach. I said sure, she gave me a 2:00 appointment, which was the same as their jet ski time. Perfect, right? I left them to go down to get their jet ski and I to go for a nice relaxing massage. Supposed to be there at 1:45 for paperwork, arrived at 1:30 (no watch). There is a concierge there as it is next to the cabanas. He told me to fill out the paperwork, then he disappeared ( I assume a break) when he came back he said "they didn't come get you?" I said "no" so he went to check on the rooms to see what was going on and THERE WAS NO ONE THERE! There had been golf carts picking people up there and taking them down to the beaches, so I asked if he could call for the carts to take me down to the jet ski area. He called and they were not running anymore? Not my Coco day! I walked down to the jet ski area to wait for them. At 3:15 I walked up to the desk to see where they were, their trip had been cancelled, too rough. Walkie Talkies! I walked around, was headed back to see if they closed out the locker and finally found them! GET THE WALKIE TALKIES! We had dinner that night at Chops. I still wanted fish, hubby and granddaughter had the filet. Baked Halibut or I think salmon were the only fish so I had the short ribs. I tasted their steak, get the steak! Filet! We left the restaurant and went to look at our pics bought the package of 4 pics which included a frame. He had to print them so we could pick them up at guest services after 9:00. I forgot, had to go back to the room and have luggage ready by 12:00. I went to the casino, there were some young people that we had seen at dinner. They were drinking a lot of wine. They were getting a little loud at the tables, lots of staff started coming around, one staff member mouthed to me "are you ok?" I shook my head yes and he moved on. I really appreciate the consideration, but seriously, they push drinks all day long and then when people get rowdy everyone is upset? Monday morning we went down to try to straighten out our bill, we still don't have our credit for granddaughter on the jet ski. I called guest services about the massage and she said she would contact the spa manager about it. Still have not heard from them. We had to be at our disembarkation station between 8:30 and 8:40. We were off the ship and in our car by 9:30. We had a valet come up and ask to help with our luggage, he took it all the way to the parking garage for us! BTW when I got home I looked at our pictures, I paid for 4 and got 2. Going to try to straighten that one out now. Even tough it sounds like a totally negative review the staff, all of them that we came in contact with, were very kind and helpful. Our Steward was AWESOME. Get the walkie talkies if you have more than 2 people. Would I go on Royal Caribbean again? I don't know yet. Very kid friendly! My granddaughter was treated very special everywhere we went. No kids? Definitely Celibrity!

Cabin Review

Junior Suite with Balcony

Cabin JS

We were below the pool deck, and down from one of the bars, we could hear people walking and running on the pool deck. We could hear the music from the bar on the balcony. Other than that this cabin was great! Very centrally located.
