Wonderful Cruise with AMA Waterways
Destination: Europe - River Cruise
We took the Tulip Time cruise on the AmaDante this April and really had a wonderful time. From check-in to check-out, nothing could have been better.
The cruise director was friendly and extremely helpful.
Our cabin was spacious and well set-up. We love having a FrenchBalcony. We had room to stash our luggage and plenty of space to store our clothes.
We found the food to be very good and the wine with our meals was delicious. The waiters were, on the whole, terrific. A few needed a bit more training., but were personable none-the-less.
The tours were with excellent tour guides and very worthwhile. We did not sign up for any optional tours, but were perfectly satisfied with the included offerings.
I like AMA Waterways because of all of the above, but the spacious cabins are really a clincher. We checked out some other companies and Viking offers much smaller cabins in the same price range.
Luckily, we had good weather for our More cruise. I recommend taking a Tulip-Time cruise near the end of the season to see the most blooms. Less

Cabin review: A316 Stateroom with French Balcony
Our cabin was 316 on the Violin Deck. At 170 Square ft, we had plenty of room to move around. It has a French balcony and two comfortable chairs beside the balcony. Very Comfortable.Last year I took a cruise on the AmaCello, which has the same deck plan. We were on the Cello Deck in room 220. It was exactly like the 316 cabin. So, not matter what deck you choose as long as you have a French Balcony, you have a spacious, comfortable room.Read All Stateroom with French Balcony (A) Reviews >>
