Embarkation: Fast and easy, well organized. Cabin: D6 vs D3? No idea the difference other than bed/couch swap. D6 was bed near balcony, which i liked. Plenty of room, lots of outlets on the desk, great lighting choices. Bath a little tight, shower and sink no cold water...warm was best you could get. AC was very poor. Be sure to leave all doors closed, lights off, TV off (massive heat produced) and blinds drawn during the day. Food (dinners) MDR: Went first night, didn't care for the server and had 3 nights in $$ locations already, added another few on. Bye. Chops: Fantastic steak, great service, menu as good as on land. Izume: Another hit, everything tasted fresh and flavorful, with plenty of choices. $99 bottle of Sake worth it, really. Service again outstanding Chef's Table: Nah, not worth it. Server pretentious, Chef hard to understand and menu items described as Seared Scallops on menu, chef described as Poached (and no sear on the scallop). 150 Central Park: Better than Chef's Table, great menu, food was very good, server outstanding (Muladin). Solarium: Tasty enough but service was really poor, even the manager was slacking. Healthy choices were good, and you'd hardly know they were healthy, just seemed off somehow. The Ship: Wow oh wow, it is amazing and takes a day or so just to figure out where you are headed. Each of the neighborhoods are great, although Boardwalk has limimted appeal. Actually by day 5 I had a "been there, done that" feeling about most of the spaces. Pools: They get crowded, and on sea days you do have people playing the towel game grrr!!! Still plenty of places to go though. Bars: Crapola, so many it's hard to hit them all in a day! My Favorite is Viking Lounge Shows: Hairspray was great (Go Jm J!) Comedy was also wonderful. Aqua shows were OK, amazing at what they are doing, but a little long for my liking. Skipped the headliner and heard we missed out. Spa: Oh yeah, love it love it, although they should offer everyone robes when they arrive, and not have to ask. TO DO (Daily Activites): Too much in a lot of ways, you need to plan your day if you are going to get the most. Overall: Loved being on the ship, it didn't feel crowded but I think personally I'd rather lay on a beach and have someone bring me umbrella drinks than cruise again.

Cabin review: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Bed near balcony lay out. Plenty of outlets, good storage, Shower was smaller than expected (about the size of a transporter pad on Star Trek. Some noise from above (scrapping of chairs, high heels) but not enough to be a bother (maybe one or two noises a day, ending by midnight).

Port and Shore Excursions

What a hole. Other than Atlantis tours which were stupid expensive, this island is not worth getting off the ship for. Highlights were Dunkin Donuts and the Art Museum
