We thoroughly enjoyed our recent cruise and are already planning our second. Despite its alleged smallish size, we found plenty to do on board. Our 7 year old son was treated royally by the crew. He got balloon animals at dinner on two occasions and our steward did towel animals in our stateroom on several occasions. Our son also loved the kids club program on the ship.

Our suite was adequate for the 3 of us and the balcony was a nice addition. Even though we were at the back of the ship, there was no engine smell or soot. Everything on the ship was clean and the recent upgrade was stunning. There was no unoward odors as reported by other reviewers. We visited the Palladium theater mos evening and the entertainment was top notch.

We thought the food was very good. The dining room was excellent and the Windjammer buffet, although predictable, had a good selection for all meals. I would recommend that passengers on the Grandeur avail themselves of the upgraded dining package. The food at Izumi (Asian/sushi), Giovanni's Table (rustic Italian with huge amounts of food) and Chops (steaks) was exceptional.

Cabin was clean and roomy. Nice balcony (8084
